An Analysis of the Behavior of Farmers'Concurrent and Its Influencing Factors in Xinjiang Wheat Growing Regions——Based on the Sample Data of Farmers in Dongwan Town of Qitai County.

Abstract: In China, agriculture is changing from traditional agriculture to modern agriculture, and part-time farming has become a common phenomenon.Due to the development of agriculture in Xinjiang is slower than the other provinces,part-time farmers are relatively small, but with the advance of industrialization, urbanization, agricultural modernization in Xinjiang,part-time farming become common, especially in grain producing areas.This paper has used questionnaire survey method which investigates 137 households in DongwanTown of Qitai County of Xinjiang province to analyze the behavior of part-time farmers,and structured the Logit model to analyze the influencing factors of the behavior of part-time farmers.It has concluded that the quality of rural labor force, the number of employment opportunities, and natural disasters are the important factors that affect the peasant household in DongwanTown of Qitai County. Therefore, in order to promote the development of peasant industry concurrently, it is necessary to improve the quality of the labor force and provide jobs.
