    2021, (3):  25-35.  doi: 10.16716/j.cnki.65-1030/f.2021.03.003

The rural revitalization strategy calls for integrated urban and rural development, which provides a novel way to solve the dilemma of employment and entrepreneurship in the rural area. Based on the data from China Agriculture Census in Hebei Province in 2016, this paper investigates the characteristics and laws between employment and entrepreneurship of rural households in Hebei Province from the perspective of rural revitalization, in order to explore the ways to alleviate the situation of employment and entrepreneurship in the rural area, and to investigate the advantage and disadvantage of agricultural business subjects. It turns out that the development of employment and entrepreneurship is uneven and insufficient, and the fact that two-way flows of factors such as labor and capital exist primitively between the rural and urban can ease the dilemma of employment and entrepreneurship in the rural. Compared to the rural employment households, types of entrepreneurship accumulate human capital more and thus earn more economic benefits. In addition, the households of entrepreneurship with more outputs usually benefit from better economic foundation or policy environment. Based on the above conclusion, this paper advocates market together with government to support the entrepreneurship during the process of the choice of agricultural business subjects and implementation of rural revitalization in the huge rural areas.

    Ma Haitao, Tian Ying
    2021, (3):  36-48.  doi: 10.16716/j.cnki.65-1030/f.2021.03.004

Based on the data of 13848 samples of 1154 A-share listed companies in China from 2007 to 2018, this paper explores the influence of social security contribution rate on short-term and long-term performance of companies and its transmission mechanism from theoretical analysis and empirical research. The results show that there is a significant negative correlation between the actual social security payment rate and the short-term performance of the company, and a significant positive correlation between the actual social security payment rate and the long-term performance of the company. Further analysis shows that the actual contribution rate of social security has three channels:employee incentive effect, factor substitution effect and labor cost effect, among which employee incentive effect is more significant in non-state-owned enterprises and high human capital enterprises;factor substitution effect is more significant in labor-intensive enterprises and enterprises with higher degree of financing constraints; The labor cost effect channel is more significant in manufacturing enterprises and small and mediumsized enterprises. In addition, this paper also finds that there is a negative correlation between corporate life cycle and corporate performance. The longer the corporate life cycle is, the worse the corporate performance is.This study reveals the positive effect of social security payment on corporate performance, and calls on enterprises to actively fulfill social security payment and comply with it for a long time.

    2021, (3):  49-58.  doi: 10.16716/j.cnki.65-1030/f.2021.03.005

Based on the static panel data of 152 commercial banks and 469 private enterprises listed on SME board from 2014 to 2018, this paper empirically analyzes the impact of strict supervision and distance between banks and enterprises on the financing constraints of private enterprises. The results show that the narrowing of the distance between banks and enterprises can promote the alleviation of financing constraints of private enterprises and reduce the negative impact of strict supervision on private enterprises' financing The reduction of the distance between enterprises significantly weakens the negative impact of strict supervision on the financing of private enterprises; the financing constraints of private enterprises in areas with high degree of financing constraints and high concentration of private enterprises are greatly affected by the distance between banks and enterprises. Therefore, it is suggested that we should speed up the promotion of digital Inclusive Finance, optimize the distribution structure of bank outlets, pay attention to the differentiated management of financial regulatory policies, encourage small and medium-sized banks to support the development of small and medium-sized private enterprises, innovate financial technology service channels, and effectively improve the financing environment of private enterprises.

China and Pakistan are both traditional agricultural countries and important trading partners. This paper selects the relevant data from 2006 to 2018 to conduct an empirical study on the competitiveness advantage and export growth effect of China-Brazil agricultural trade. The research shows that in 2018, China's agricultural trade competitiveness has a weak comparative advantage and competitive advantage, while that of Pakistan has a strong comparative advantage and a weak competitive advantage, and both bilateral agricultural trade has a large potential advantage. From 2010 to 2018, the growth effect of China's agricultural exports on Pakistan increased rapidly, while the growth effect of Pakistan's agricultural exports on China changed little. In the early stage, China's agricultural export trade to Pakistan is mainly affected by the negative effects of industrial structure and price competition effect, while in the later stage, it is affected by the positive effects of price competition effect. Pakistan's export trade of agricultural products to China is negatively affected by industrial structure effect in the early stage and price competition effect in the late stage.

The Influence of Institutional Differences on the Foreign Trade Relations between China and the Countries along the Belt and Road —Based on Stochastic Frontier Gravity Model
    Niu Jun, Lu Yuze
    2021, (3):  71-80.  doi: 10.16716/j.cnki.65-1030/f.2021.03.007
    Abstract ( )   PDF (1291KB) ( )   Save
The Belt and Road Initiative plays a strategic role in the foreign trade of China and the countries along the routes, and is an important measure for China to further expand its opening to the outside world. This paper selects trade data of 56 countries along the Belt and Road from 2000 to 2018, using the expansion of the gravity of stochastic frontier model from two aspects: import and export trade to analyze the influence of of institutional differences on trade relations to China and countries along the Belt and Road. The results show that there is an inverted U-shaped relationship between the total index of institutional differences and China's import and export trade. It shows that the institutional differences within the rationalization scope have a promoting effect on the export trade, and more than the rationalization level will restrain the growth of the export trade and the expansion of the import trade market. In addition, by constructing the sub-index model of institutional differences and comparing it with the total index of institutional difference, it is concluded that the total index of institutional difference and the sub-index of institutional difference have significant differences in the impact on the volume of import and export trade. Therefore, it is suggested to improve the import trade system standard, enhance the external publicity, and ensure the stability of the economic environment.
