科技应用对不同社会群体感知的影响及意义

The Influence of Science and Technology Application on Social Group Perception and Its Significance

摘要: 社会行动主体对科学技术的掌握将通过提升客观社会地位与主观社会认同两方面影响社会群体感知。本文基于中国综合社会调查数据,运用OLS模型与Oprobit排序模型实证研究科技应用对社会群体感知的影响,研究表明公众对科学技术的掌握与其社会群体感知之间具有显著的一致性,科技应用会对公众的社会群体感知产生显著的正向效用。分样本回归结果表明,随着经济的发展,科技应用对社会群体感知的影响在城乡间已呈趋近态势;相较于女性,科技应用对男性社会群体感知的提升作用更显著;且科技应用对31~55岁年龄段群体的社会群体感知作用强于其他年龄段群体。

Abstract: The mastery of science and technology by social agents will influence their perception of social group through the promotion of objective social status and subjective social identity. Based on the data of China Social Situation Survey (CSS) in 2015, this paper uses OLS model and Oprobit ranking model to make an empirical study of the technology’s influence on the social group perception and finds that there is a significant consistency between the mastery of science and technology and public perception of social group and application of science and technology has a significant positive effect on the public perception of social group. The results of sub-sample regression show that with the development of economy, the influence of science and technology application on social group perception has been approaching between urban and rural areas. Compared with women, technology application has a more significant effect on male social group perception. Moreover, the effect of technology application on the social group perception of the 31-55 age groups is stronger than that of other age groups.
