Abstract: Traffic Infrastructure Construction and economic development complement each other. This paper, employing co-integration theory and error correction model, analyzes the relationship between traffic infrastructure construction and economic growth in Xinjiang from 1995 to 2015. The results show that there is a long-term co-integration relationship between the traffic infrastructure construction and the regional economic development in Xinjiang, And In the long run, the railway construction plays a most significant role in promoting the regional economy, followed by the highway; In the short term, The aviation construction plays a negative role in promoting the regional economy, It mainly due to the high cost and long cycle of the aviation construction.

摘要: 交通基础设施建设与经济发展相辅相成。本文采用协整理论、误差修正模型对1995年—2015年新疆不同交通运输方式的基础设施建设与经济增长之间的关系进行了分析,结果表明:新疆的交通基础设施建设与其经济发展之间存在长期的协整关系,其中,铁路建设对地区经济的促进作用最为显著,公路次之;短期内航空建设对地区经济的促进作用为负,这主要是由于航空建设的成本高、周期长造成的。因此,本文提出了相应的建议。
