Abstract: In 2017, President Xi Jinping firstly put forward the scientific conclusion that Chinese economy has shifted from high-speed growth stage to high-quality development stage in the reports of the 19th National Congress of the Communist Party of China. Afterwards, the topics regarding high-quality development are widely concerned by researchers in different fields. With the help of CiteSpace software, the research literature published by the Chinese Social Science Citation Index source journal from 2018 to 2020 is comprehensively analyzed and visualized, and the research status, research basis and research perspective of domestic high-quality development are discussed, and the research topics and hot topics are reviewed. Based on them, the paper holds that the further research should focus on the influential factors and implementation ways of high-quality development from different perspectives on the new development philosophy, meanwhile, the research on the underdeveloped areas is the direction in order to further explore the research on high-quality development in the future.
